Cabaret is set in the nightlife of 1930s Berlin, just before the rise of the Nazi regime.

The story revolves around the Kit Kat Klub, a decadent cabaret, and the relationship between an American writer, Cliff Bradshaw, and an English cabaret performer, Sally Bowles.

Through its captivating musical numbers and dark, compelling narrative, Cabaret explores themes of hedonism, political apathy, and the creeping influence of Nazism on the lives and attitudes of ordinary people.
