Cinderella, originally written for television in 1957 with music by Richard Rodgers and a book and lyrics by Oscar Hammerstein II, was adapted for the Broadway stage in 2013 with a new book by Douglas Carter Beane.

This enchanting adaptation of the timeless fairy tale brings new life to the story of a young woman forced into servitude who dreams of—and achieves—a better life.

The story follows Cinderella as she transforms from a downtrodden maid into a confident, empowered woman, with the help of her Fairy Godmother, and captures the heart of the Prince.
